Laptop quiz Dell Inspiron E1505?

I enjoy a Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop. Whenever I am running off the freestyle my screen is menacing. If I plug it in my eyeshade gets brighter. It even does this when my freestyle is fully charged. Anyone know why?

All laptops will do this. It is a power saving part. It will turn down the brightness of the screen as all right as a few other power saving option in writ to conserve battery power. You can simply readjust to the peak brightness levels via the FN knob plus what ever function key collates to the brightness smooth.





I have to chime surrounded by and say I disagree beside the lcd being the biggest power hog. It would noticeably be the processor which is why processors speeds are stepped down tremendously when on battery power. but yes the lcd is a big power user.
Dell wishes to prolong the amount of battery natural life. The LCD screen backlight is one of the top consumers of dash in the laptop besides the knotty disk. Turning it down means more battery-operated life. When it is plugged within it has unlimited power to use, so it uses the hardware to the full experience and doesn't worry in the order of energy conservation. Yes, your laptop hate hippies.
It is program in the Bios when running on freestyle. You can change this by- When you 1st turn on your computer hit any F1 or F2 to go to setup menu. later go to the page that have your bightness settings
