Does mac enjoy built in virus protection? My mac is newly a couple months old, but I've notice it freezes up a lot. Does any other mac user know what this could be or what I can do to fix the problem?

thats unusual, macs dont grasp these problems alot, maybe its the program ur using, newly force quit it from the apple menu, or bring it to the apple store, just reserve an appointment by going to their website and locating a store
No, Mac does not enjoy built in virus protection. No operating system does. You own to install your anti-virus yourself. That is what you get for believing adjectives the Mac hype.
