Loss notes from laptop =[?

ihave a hp pavilion ze4800, and this morning the computer be shutting down, it wasnt shut down compelety and i pulled the power cord from it, which made it turn off, because the freestyle on it dont work. and right now when i turned it on, adjectives my music, and other files got delete. but the weird piece is that all the programs i installed on this computer, are still on here. where on earth did all my music and everything else jump?? =[

i don think to be exact the reason for deletion of your notes, you should think of something else that you might own done unknowingly
