Laptop harddrive sizeI?

I hold an easynote c3300 laptop and according to packard bell the biggest harddrive i can fit is 30gb. is this right and why?

No. My laptop is OLD and it has 40 GB, clothed new ones from companies resembling DELL have LOADS more than that. But, depending on the actual size of your domestic device... I dont know.
if its an older laptop, i believe this. elder laptops cant read to big of a hard drive because of the BIOS.

It adjectives depends on what the BIOS can support. Windows XP SP1 could only support up to 137GB of tough drive space, but if BIOS can only support up to 30GB it will defaulting to the 30GB. You would have to flash the BIOS contained by order for it to support a superior capacity. You would own to go to the manufacturer website for your particular brand of BIOS, download the foreign BIOS and find instructions on how to flash it. From there, you should be capable of install a higher size hard drive.

as said past.. there is a 30gb enclosure.. if your pc's bios don't support it.. your stuck with it



most drives in our time are 80gb with laptops.. the biggest one i can fit on mine is a 120gb one.. but that also runs at 5,400 rpm



the most recent thing is solid state, complex drives.. basically memory on a pcima card..





enjoy you thought about a usb2 external drive also?



if your workstation isn't usb2 , then i.e. a problem.. although you can get a pcima card to receive it usb2..
why spend money on a laptop when you can get it for free? of late go to this site and complete a few speedy tasks and they'll send you a sony vaio laptop at no charge!
