I notice last dark that all music files on my computer enjoy all become compressed fastener files with nil in them and they can not play. Does anybody know anyway of shifting these back to MP3 format so they can play again. I may own a virus, in which casing, can anybody recommend a software to alter the format?

That's a nasty virus you get there. Better scan your computer for a virus but be sure to update your antivirus first past doing a complete scan of your system.
Have you tried just taking one record, copy it so you don't loose the data. Then beside the file, relocate the extension from .zip to .mp3 and see what happen.
This will give an view of the extent of damage you are dealing next to. It could be that you just want to change the extensions.
