I a moment ago got a latest laptop. It's HP, but I don't know how to figure out the volume. I see the little icon that represent Volume, but they are on the keys f11 and f12. It doesn't work when i press em, so i kno you enjoy to press it with perchance another button? well please backing me.

There should be a function key that you hold to press. Usually near the window key.
yes you press the fn switch, it stands for functon, so press fn+f11 to turn down the voluem, you can find fn on the bottom left of the upright
