Last hours of darkness I went to play a region 1 motion picture, a box came up truism to change from Region 2, I clicked Yes, it told me I merely had 4 more times to money region then it locks the drive. Is within anyway to make the drive permantantly region free, or is this not advisable?
Answer:
It can be done but it is not advisable as it can incentive problems with writing discs. There is software available to do this (DVD Region+CSS Free) which funds you don't have to mess around next to the region settings.
